27.03.24 The Uncanny House curated by Ilaria Marotta & Andrea Baccin investigates the sense of unheimlich, a place that provides an especially favored locus for uncanny disturbances through the work of eighteen international artists. 16.02.24 Poetics of Encryption curated by Nadim Samman is an extensive group exhibition bringing together works by over 40 international artists, building upon Samman’s recent book by the same title. Nico Vascellari’s VIT (2020) holds a monumental place in the show running til May 26th at KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin, Germany.

03.10.23 VS #0.5 (Oltre) is launched as the second issue of Nico Vascellari Studio’s own publication, collecting archive materials, references encountered throughout the making of artistic projects between June and October 2023, in preparation for the performance ALESSIO. Available here.
03.10.23 ALESSIO, a performance by Nico Vascellari curated by Sergio Risaliti and Stefania Rispoli, is presented at Salone dei Cinquecento, Palazzo Vecchio, in Florence. The video work Alessio will be presented in the Sala d’Arme of Palazzo Vecchio in December and will become part of the collections at Museo Novecento, Florence, thanks to the 12th Italian Council grant by the Ministry of Culture.

Nico Vascellari transformed the house headquarters in Milan into a giant roller disco pinball machine, with a custom disco soundtrack entitled 'After Dark', specifically created by the legendary Italian composer and producer Giorgio Moroder.
09.12.22 Nico Vascellari is awarded the XXIV Pino Pascali Prize by Fondazione Museo Pino Pascali, Polignano a Mare, Italy. The award show Tre, Quattro Galline was among the recipients of the PAC 2022 grant, issued by the Italian Ministry of Culture. The installation Tre, Quattro Galline is now part of the collection of the Museum.
